OMA Work Program
The OMA Work Program (OWP) tracks Work Items (WI) from the point that they are approved by the Technical Plenary, following the work through the subsequent requirements and specifications and up to the end when enabler releases are created and are subject to interoperability testing and packaging into bigger interoperability releases. The OWP is basically the equivalent of a project management function that is used to ensure that the work in OMA can be performed in an efficient manner.
The main purposes of the OWP keeps track of all OMA Work Items (WI), time plans and dependencies between WI's, specifications and dependencies between specifications and all supporting documents, such as Review Reports and Test Reports. The OWP also allows the OMA Technical Plenary to identify possible bottlenecks in the work flow early and thereby help avoiding unnecessary delays.
